The Coleman Light is published three times a year: January, May and September. Mailing usually occurs on or about the first of the month. Features include technical, historical, reference and humor submissions by the membership.

Viewing of the Coleman Light is reserved for members only. An Adobe Acrobat version of the newsletter, the "e-Light," is available to members and is usually uploaded a few days prior to mailing of the hard-copy version. Benifits of the e-Light include all color photos and advance viewing. The electronic version also means saving the ICCC printing costs which allow a larger newsletter.
